apifystats is a statistics site you can read without an account, plus a signed-in app for people who want to track actors over time. Browsing involves only the usage analytics described below; signing in involves an account. Effective 2026-08-16.
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., US cloud) for product analytics. When you visit, PostHog receives the usual technical data — IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, clicks, and inside the app a replay of the pages you saw with everything you type masked — plus two site-specific events: the queries you type into the site search (with result counts) and clicks out to the Apify Store. We use this to understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell or share this data, run ads, or use any other trackers.
The app at /app needs an account. We keep your email address,
what you have chosen to follow, your notification settings, and — if you
link one — your Telegram chat id, so we can send you the alerts you
asked for.
The same PostHog analytics run inside the app, and there they are tied to your account rather than anonymous: once you sign in, your account id and email are sent to PostHog, and the browsing you did on the public site from that browser is joined to your account. We do this to see which parts of the product people actually return to. If you would rather not be measured, a content blocker stops it and breaks nothing.
Your theme choice (light/dark) is kept in your browser’s localStorage and never sent anywhere. PostHog sets its own cookies/localStorage entries to tell returning visitors apart.
Paid plans are billed by Stripe (Stripe, Inc., US). Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; what we store is your Stripe customer id and the state of your subscription (plan, status, renewal date). Invoices, card changes and cancellation all happen in Stripe’s own portal.
Two kinds. The alerts and digests you configure — you choose the channels and cadence, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. And a small number of account emails: a welcome note, a heads-up before your trial ends, and a notice when it does. Account emails stop when you unsubscribe from everything or delete your account. We send nothing else — no newsletters, no partner offers.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to
Google’s servers (which sees your IP address). Analytics data is
processed by PostHog as described above. Sign-in is handled by
Clerk (Clerk.com, US), which holds your login credentials and
email address; if you sign in with Google, Google tells Clerk your email and
name. Email alerts are sent through Resend (US) and Telegram
alerts through Telegram. Payments are processed by
Stripe as described above. Our own servers are hosted by
Hetzner in Germany, which is where account data lives.
Outbound actor links go to apify.com
with a utm_source=apifystats tag so the store knows the visit
came from here; no personal data travels in those links.
Blocking analytics with a content blocker breaks nothing, on the site or in the app. You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time. For questions, or to have your analytics data deleted, write to [email protected].
